Building Futures, One Classroom at a Time
Shree Deshbhushan High & Primary School is a rural, co-educational institution committed to inclusive, value-based education. We welcome children from every background and focus on building confidence, dignity and lifelong learning.
We serve over 600+ students, many of whom are first-generation learners. Our classrooms combine strong basics with character, cultural activities, and life skills so each child can thrive both inside and outside school.
Founded in 1968 in Kothali-Kuppanwadi, Shree Deshbhushan School began as a small community initiative and has grown into a trusted rural institution. For over five decades we have served families with steady, compassionate education.
Our alumni include teachers, healthcare workers and public servants — proof that sustained support transforms individual lives and entire communities. We continue to build on that legacy with transparent governance and community partnership.
We combine robust academics with nutrition, health, materials and life skills so children can learn without barriers. Our approach ensures every need is met — from two hot vegetarian meals daily to remedial teaching, uniforms, and safe facilities.
Core programs include academic support, daily nutrition, material equity (uniforms & books), and mind-body development (yoga, karate, cultural activities). We track progress with data to improve outcomes continually.
For decades, our mission has remained unchanged — to bring quality education, nourishment, and dignity to rural children who need it the most. Open to all communities, our school nurtures:
First-generation learners | Children from BPL families | Students seeking guidance, care, and hope
We believe education is more than academics — it is confidence, identity, and opportunity. And through compassion-driven learning, we help every child rise.
Shree Deshbhushan High & Primary School has served rural communities since 1968, bringing stable, value-centred education to children who otherwise lack access. We are a co-educational, inclusive school committed to equal opportunity, safety, and dignity for every student.
Our approach blends a strong academic foundation with life skills — from remedial learning and NEP-aligned curriculum to yoga and self-defence — so children build both knowledge and confidence. Today we educate 600+ students, with a focus on first-generation learners and families below the poverty line.
Our programs are designed to remove barriers to education: two nutritious meals daily, free uniforms and books, remedial “Bridge-to-Grade” sessions, and health & hygiene support. These essentials ensure children come to school ready to learn — physically, emotionally and mentally.
Beyond basics, we foster holistic growth through yoga, karate, cultural activities, and sports, plus practical clubs (science, reading and digital literacy) to prepare students for future opportunities. Each program is measured for impact and continuously refined for better outcomes.
Our school is rooted in the community — parents, alumni, and local leaders actively support governance, safety, and accountability. We run community programs like plantation drives, mobile library outreach, and cultural events to strengthen local ownership and pride.
We also provide mentoring, exposure visits, and alumni guidance that broaden horizons for students and create real pathways out of poverty. This collaborative model keeps children in school and builds sustainable change from within the village.
